What is PPD?

Personal Progress Development is a process designed to enable us to think about, and plan for our own. Personal, academic and career development.

As university students, throughout our degree we will be encouraged by PPD to reflect on our progress and achievements and to identify areas we wish to develop and improve on.

PPD helps us to recognize the skills and abilities we are developing during our studies and to recognize how these skills and abilities are transferable to other contexts.

Also it helps us to identify areas we want and need to improve and develop and improve our employability and plan for our future career.

At very first day of our PPD session, we had to present ourselves in the presence of class for 2 minutes. It was a good opportunity to all of us to recognize our presentation ability. Some of us, including me couldn't use all the 2 minutes. And we could realize our status of presenting. It was very good occasions for us to start improving our soft skills.

Then we had a lot of team works our PPD sessions. They were very useful for us to improve a lot of good qualities of ours. Such as the way of thinking as a team member, how to get instant decisions as a team and how work as a team as well.

I'll explain some of activities in my next articles.
