Egg protector baby

    we had very interesting ppd session on last week, 07th of November. It was very good team work which conducted by Sarasi Madam. It was based on an egg. Firstly, she devided us to three groups. I belonged to first group. There were five members in our group. Sithara, yasiru, Karshan, Tedy and me were in our group. What we had to do is protect our egg without any cracking when it throws from a height such as ten feets. madam gave an egg and and five papers for each group and told us to do something creatively to protect our egg.
    As a team firstly we discussed our ideas with each other to do that task creatively and scientifically. We started our work with thinking about pressure when the egg falls on the floor. So we firstly covered the egg with selotape.

    Then we took a piece of paper and and rolled the paper like a cylinder around the egg. Next we filled that cylinder by chipped piece of papers.

    It reduces the pressure of egg on top and the bottom. Then we thought about reducing the pressure around the egg. For that we used some rolled papers as sticks. We pasted those sticks around the cylinder with a proper plan.

Finally, we made a creative one like this covering the egg.

    Then all of us went to outside and one of us threw the covered eggs from a height of ten feets.

Our egg was the only egg which was on the floor without any cracking.

So we were the wining team, because we had clear idea from the beginning of this task and our team members worked cooperatively with each other.

Another Two Interesting Games

In every week, we had very interesting team works in our PPD sessions last week on 25th of October, we had two games. They are standing on the paper and lava river.

At the first game, standing on the paper, we had to stand on the piece of paper which Sarasi madam gave us as a team. She divided us to three teams. In this game feet of all the members should be on the paper. Firstly all the teams could do it easily. Then Sarasi madam told us to fold the paper and stand on it. It was rather difficult than the first round. Then she again told us to fold the paper another term and stand on it. It was very difficult for us. No one could win the third round. But it was very interesting game.

Then we had lava river game. Sarasi madam gave 4 cards for each team and mark the banks of the river on the floor. In the first round we had to cross the river one by one or together. But one team couldn't cross the river since they lost all four cards. In the second round again we had to cross the lava river and go to the other bank.

     All the three teams could go the other bank in second round. Then, in the third round, Sarasi madam marked some places with a cross inside the lava river. In this round we had to go the other bank of lava river together with all team members. If we reached the cross marks which madam marks before, we could get marks. It was very interesting game as well. With these two games we could learn how to work as a team. After the games Sarasi madam explained us how to win the challenges as teams and it was very important explanation for us.
